TBN Express is produced by an independent editorial team focused on making crypto markets understandable. We pair plain-English journalism with live market data so readers — from first-timers to experienced market watchers — can follow what is happening and why it matters. This page explains who we are, how we work, and the standards you can hold us to.

Who produces TBN Express

Everything on this site is created and reviewed by the TBN Express Editorial Team. We work as one accountable newsroom rather than a roster of invented personalities: reporting, data checks and review are shared across the team, and the team — not a fictional persona — stands behind every piece. The principles that govern our work are set out in our Editorial Policy and Ethics Policy, and when we get something wrong we fix it openly through our Corrections process.

What the team does

  • Source and present live market data across 300+ coin pages, drawing prices and metrics from established third-party providers and showing them as they are reported.
  • Write plain-language journalism and guides — news, analysis and beginner-friendly explainers that add context instead of noise.
  • Build and maintain free tools — a suite of calculators and market tools that run on your inputs and real data, never invented results.
  • Define the words we use through a growing crypto glossary, so unfamiliar terms always have a plain explanation.
  • Review and fact-check every article before it is published, and keep it accurate afterwards.

Areas we cover

Our focus is cryptocurrencies and the markets around them: Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, stablecoins, DeFi and regulation, plus the tools and education that help readers make sense of them. We explain how markets behave and what moves them. We do not tell you what to buy, publish personalised investment recommendations, or issue price guarantees — that boundary is part of our disclaimer and applies to everything we publish.

How content is produced and reviewed

Our workflow is built around accuracy over speed:

StageWhat happens
ResearchWe gather information from primary sources — project documentation, on-chain data, regulatory filings and named, on-the-record statements.
DraftingA draft is written in plain English. Software tools may assist with gathering, organising and editing, but they do not replace the team.
ReviewA human editor checks the draft for factual accuracy, fair representation and clarity, verifying data-driven claims against the underlying figures.
Publish & maintainThe piece goes live under the team byline. Substantive corrections carry a dated note; evolving stories are updated and timestamped.

How we work

A few habits sit underneath everything we publish. We keep commercial arrangements completely separate from editorial decisions. We attribute information to its source and link to it where we can. We avoid trading signals and “buy now” language. And we try to be transparent about how a piece was made, including the limits of what we know.

Our use of AI

We use modern software, including AI tools, to help research, organise and edit — the model is best described as machine-assisted, human-reviewed. AI is a tool, not a person: we do not use it to invent a journalist, fabricate a byline, or generate quotes, sources or market figures. A human editor is responsible for every published claim. Our full position is set out in our AI Use & Disclosure policy.

Machine-assisted, human-reviewed. Tools can help us draft and check, but a member of the editorial team is accountable for the accuracy and tone of everything that goes live.

Why we publish under a team byline

Articles appear under the TBN Express Editorial Team byline. This reflects a genuinely collaborative process in which reporting, data checks and review are shared. It also keeps us honest: rather than dress work up in invented author biographies, credentials or headshots, we put collective accountability on the record. The team is responsible for every article, and you always know who that is.

Our principles

  • Accuracy — we would rather publish less and get it right than chase volume.
  • Independence — our coverage is not for sale, and no advertiser or partner has a say in it.
  • Transparency — we show our sources, label content types, and explain how our data and tools work.
  • Education first — we exist to make crypto clearer, not to push trades.

What you can hold us to

We think standards only matter if you can check them. You can hold us to the following:

  • We publish under a real, accountable team byline and never invent author identities.
  • We never present AI-generated or hand-typed figures as live market data.
  • We label sponsored content and keep it away from the newsroom.
  • We correct verified errors promptly and transparently.
  • We never tell you what to buy or guarantee a price.

How we handle data and sources

The live figures across TBN Express are not typed in by hand. They are pulled from established third-party providers and shown as reported, so the number you see is the number the provider gives. Where the live value is genuinely unavailable, we render nothing rather than show a zero or a guess. The full detail — providers, refresh windows and fallbacks — lives in our Methodology.

Independence you can verify

We are a publisher, not a broker, exchange or token project, and we do not execute trades or hold client funds. Some links may earn us a commission to support free access to the site; these are explained in our Affiliate Disclosure and never change our editorial view. How advertising and sponsorship are walled off from reporting is covered in our Advertising & Sponsorship policy. If something ever reads like an advert dressed up as journalism, tell us.

A note on tone and language

Crypto is full of confident-sounding noise. We deliberately choose clarity over urgency: we explain jargon, link unfamiliar terms to the glossary, and avoid hype, hard sells and fear-of-missing-out framing. If a piece cannot be made clear and accurate, we would rather not publish it.
