Key terms explained

A few words that come up across the tools. For the full list, see our crypto glossary.

TermWhat it means
Market cap Price multiplied by circulating supply — the fairest way to compare the size of two coins.
Volume (24h) How much of a coin changed hands in the last day. Thin volume usually means sharper price swings.
Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) Buying a fixed dollar amount on a regular schedule instead of all at once, to smooth out your entry price.
Volatility How quickly and how far a price moves. Higher volatility means bigger gains and bigger losses.
Liquidity How easily an asset can be bought or sold without moving its price. Deeper liquidity means steadier fills.

Where our data comes from

Live prices, market capitalisation and volume are aggregated from established market-data APIs, with an automatic fallback to a second provider when the primary source is unavailable. Historical prices used by the profit/loss and DCA calculators come from the same providers. We cache figures briefly for speed and refresh them throughout the day.

Our rule is simple: real data or nothing. When a value can't be retrieved, a tool leaves the space empty rather than showing an estimate. Read the full details in our methodology, and how we work in our editorial policy.

Not financial advice. These tools are for general information only. Crypto markets are volatile and you can lose money — always do your own research before making any decision.

Frequently asked questions

Are these crypto tools free to use?
Yes. Every tool on TBN Express is completely free and works straight away in your browser. There is no paywall, trial or usage limit.
Do I need to create an account or sign in?
No. None of the tools require registration, an email address or a wallet connection. You can open any calculator and start using it immediately.
Where do the numbers in the calculators come from?
The converter and live-price tools use current market prices pulled from public market-data APIs at the moment you use them. The profit/loss and DCA calculators run your inputs against live or real historical prices — never estimated or invented figures. When a value cannot be retrieved, the tool shows nothing in its place rather than a placeholder.
Is the DCA backtest a prediction of future returns?
No. The dollar-cost-averaging calculator samples real past prices to show how a strategy would have performed historically. Past performance does not predict future results, and the tool makes no forecast.
Do the tools work on mobile?
Yes. Every tool is responsive and designed to work on phones, tablets and desktops without any extra setup.
Are these tools financial advice?
No. The tools and their results are provided for general information only and are not investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose money. Always do your own research.
