About TBN Express
Who we are, what we publish, and how The Blockchain News Express approaches independent crypto news and live market data.
The Blockchain News Express (TBN Express) is an independent publication covering cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and the digital-asset markets. We pair timely reporting with live market data and free, practical tools — so you can read the story and check the numbers in the same place.
What we cover
Our newsroom is organised around six editorial verticals, supported by a set of free market tools and a plain-English glossary. Whether you want breaking developments, deeper market analysis or a quick definition, there is a clear place to find it.
| Section | What you will find |
|---|---|
| News | Timely reporting on the events moving crypto markets and the wider industry. |
| Market | Data-led analysis of prices, capital flows and on-chain activity. |
| Opinions | Clearly labelled commentary and argument, kept separate from straight reporting. |
| Guides | Step-by-step explainers for newcomers and experienced readers alike. |
| Reviews | Hands-on assessments of products, platforms and services. |
| Events | What is happening across the crypto calendar, from launches to conferences. |
| Markets & tools | Live coin prices, free calculators and a glossary. |
What makes us different
Crypto is full of dashboards that fill gaps with guesses. We do the opposite. Every figure on TBN Express is pulled live from public market-data providers, and when a value is genuinely unavailable we show nothing at all — never a zero, a dash or an estimated placeholder dressed up as real.
Real data or nothing. We would rather leave a widget blank than mislead you with a fabricated number. The same principle applies to our journalism: we never invent quotes, sources or statistics.
How we work
All reporting is produced and reviewed by the TBN Express Editorial Team. We publish under a single editorial byline rather than inventing individual personas, biographies or headshots. Drafts are checked for accuracy and clarity before they go live, and our full standards are set out in our Editorial Policy.
Our data and tools
Market figures across the site come from public APIs in real time, with documented sources and refresh intervals described in our Methodology. Our free tools — including a Crypto Converter, a Profit & Loss calculator and a DCA backtester — run your inputs against the same live or historical data, never invented results.
Editorial independence
Coverage decisions are made by the editorial team and are not for sale. Sponsored content, if it is ever published, is clearly labelled and kept separate from the newsroom. Where an article touches a project we have a relationship with, we disclose it.
Who we are
TBN Express is an independent crypto news and data publication. Our work is produced by an editorial team that takes responsibility for what we publish — we report under a team byline rather than inventing individual personas, and a person reviews every page before it goes live. Machine tools may assist our research and production, but the judgement, verification and accountability are human. We are not affiliated with any exchange, token project or financial institution, and that independence shapes everything from what we choose to cover to how we handle commercial relationships.
What we set out to do
Our aim is simple: to help readers understand the crypto market clearly, without hype and without being sold to. The space is crowded with marketing dressed up as information, confident predictions with nothing behind them, and figures chosen to tell a flattering story. We try to be the opposite — explaining how things actually work, grounding claims in verifiable sources, and presenting market data honestly so you can draw your own conclusions. We would rather help you think clearly than tell you what to buy, which is something we will never do.
Real data, no invented numbers
A core commitment runs through the whole site: the figures we show are real. Live prices, market caps and index readings are pulled automatically from established market-data providers, never typed in by hand or invented to fit a narrative. We do not fabricate whale movements, fund flows, analyst targets or any other data point. Where a number is uncertain, cached, or sourced from a third party, we say so. This discipline is what makes our market pages and tools worth relying on, and it is documented in detail in our methodology.
How we are funded
Keeping the site free has to be paid for somehow, and we are open about how. Some links may earn an affiliate commission, and we may carry clearly labelled advertising or sponsored content. None of these arrangements influence our coverage: commercial content is always separated from editorial, and a commission never buys a recommendation. The details are set out in our affiliate disclosure and advertising policies. Reader trust is the asset we care about most, and we treat protecting it as more valuable than any single source of revenue.
Our standards, in one place
Everything described on this page is backed by published policies you can read and hold us to. How we research and review our work is set out in our editorial policy; how we verify facts and sources is covered in our fact-checking and sources and verification standards; and how we handle mistakes is explained in our corrections process. We would rather make these commitments explicit and be measured against them than ask readers to take our independence on faith.
Getting in touch
We welcome questions, tips and feedback, and we read everything that comes in. If you have spotted an error, want to share a story, or simply have a question about our data or tools, our contact page lists the best ways to reach the right part of the team. What we cannot do is offer personalised investment advice or tell you whether to buy or sell a specific asset — helping you understand the market is our purpose, but the decisions, and their consequences, remain yours.
