Your data
Privacy Policy
What information this site collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have over it.
Last updated June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information TBN Express collects when you visit tbnexpress.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep what we collect to a minimum, we do not sell it, and we try to explain the details in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the TBN Express website, including our articles, live market data and free tools. It sits alongside our Terms of Use and our Methodology, which explains where our market data comes from and how it is cached.
Information we collect
We collect very little. Most of what we hold is either information you actively give us, such as a newsletter sign-up, or standard technical data that almost every website records automatically.
| Type | What it is | Why we have it |
|---|---|---|
| Newsletter email | The email address you submit if you subscribe. | To send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else. |
| Server logs | Standard request data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. | Security, troubleshooting and aggregate, non-identifying statistics. |
| Local preferences | Small values stored in your own browser, such as display settings. | To remember your preferences between visits. |
How we use information
We use the limited information above to operate and protect the site, to deliver the newsletter to people who request it, and to understand in aggregate which articles and tools are useful. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not try to identify individual readers from ordinary browsing.
What we do not do
Our default is restraint. The shorter the list of things we do with your data, the less there is to go wrong.
We do not sell your data. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share your newsletter address with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and local storage
We aim to keep cookies and similar storage to a minimum and use them mainly to remember functional preferences, such as a display setting you have chosen. We do not use them to track you across other websites. You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings; doing so may reset some preferences but will not stop you reading the site.
Market data and third-party providers
Live prices and market metrics are retrieved and cached by our servers, so the figures you see are served from tbnexpress.com rather than by your browser calling outside providers directly. The sources we draw on — including CoinGecko, CoinPaprika and alternative.me — are documented in our Methodology. If we ever embed third-party content directly on a page, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make any such request, contact us and we will respond as described below.
Data retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected — newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, and server logs for a limited operational period. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy
TBN Express is intended for an adult, general audience interested in markets and technology. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by their local law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves or as the law changes. When we make a material change we will revise the date shown on this page, so it is worth checking back occasionally.
How to contact us
For any privacy question or request, email editor@tbnexpress.com or use our Contact page. We read every message and aim to respond to genuine requests.
