The written exam of the SSC and Equivalent has ended. The SSC Practical Routine 2025 has been published by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The Board announced that, Practical Exam will be held from May 15 and continue till May 22, 2025.
Under the nine general education boards, 1,490,142 students sat for the SSC exam. On the other hand, 294,726 from Madrasah and 143,313 from the Technical Board. If you are also one of them, you will need to know in detail about the SSC Practical Routine.
SSC Exam 2025
This year, the SSC and Equivalent Exam started on April 10 with Bangla 1st Paper. However, the SSC Routine for 9 General Education Board was changed twice before starting the exam. For this reason, the Bangla 2nd Paper exam is not taken after the Bangla 1st Paper. It was conducted on May 13 instead of April 13, 2025.
According to the official report, a total of 1,928,970 students appeared for the 2025 SSC Exam. Among the total examinees, 967,739 were female and 961,231 were male students. This year, about 1 lakh candidates decreased compared to last year’s candidates. In 2024, the number of SSC and equivalent examinees was 2,024,192.
SSC Practical Routine 2025
The SSC Exam was conducted at 3,715 centers across the country. The Practical Exam for Science, Humanities, and Commerce Groups will be held from May 15, 2025. According to the SSC Practical Routine, the exam will continue till May 22, 2025.

All Board SSC Practical Exam Routine
Those who are going to participate in the practical exam must know about the exam routine. Generally, the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board does not publish the practical routine. The Routine is distributed in the center on the last day of the written exam.
Candidates from all education boards, including the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, need to look at the notice board of their own exam center.
SSC and Equivalent Exam 2025: Overview
This year, a total of 1,490,142 students appeared in the SSC examination under the 9 general education boards. Among them, 701,538 were male students and 788,604 were female students. The students from 18,084 institutions took part in the exam at 2,291 centers.
The number of candidates in the Madrasah Board increased this year. A total of 294,726 candidates appeared in the exam under this Board. Of them, 150,893 were male and 143,833 were female students.
The Madrasah Board SSC Dakhil Exam was taken at 725 centers. On the other hand, 143,313 candidates participated in the SSC Exam from the Technical Education Board. Among them, 108,385 were male students and 34,928 were female students.
