The HSC and equivalent examinations 2025 set to begin across Bangladesh on Wednesday, June 26, 2025. This year, the ministry has introduced tighter rules and stronger enforcement to ensure a fair and peaceful examination environment. One of them is; No electronic device can be used within 200 yards of any examination center.

The Ministry of Education has officially confirmed this information on Tuesday. A press notice has issued in this regard. This restriction applies not only to students but also to teachers, exam staff, and anyone associated with the process.

New Rule for HSC Exam 2025

These new measures were finalized in a high-level meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar, Education Advisor to the Government.

In the official statement, the ministry clarified that any attempt to leak questions, spread rumors, or provide cheating materials will be met with strict legal action.

Army Deployment in Exam Center

To prevent any breach of security, the government is going beyond traditional law enforcement. Alongside the district administration and police, members of the Bangladesh Army will be deployed in sensitive areas to maintain order.

A hotline number (01320010148) has also been activated to report any cybercrimes or rumor-mongering during the exam period. The Cyber Police Center under CID will operate this hotline throughout the examination schedule to respond to any digital threats in real time.

Special Focus on Power Supply

To ensure students face no obstacles during their exam, the Power Division has been asked to ensure uninterrupted electricity at all exam centers. Authorities have already been informed to take preventive measures against power outages during exam hours.

Students have also been instructed to arrive at the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Any latecomers must have their name, roll number, entry time, and reason for delay recorded in the attendance register, which will be reported to both the respective board and exam center authority daily.

In case any exam is delayed due to natural disasters, it has been decided that additional time equivalent to the delay will be granted.
