The SSC Syllabus 2027 has officially been released by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). The Mark Distribution and Question Pattern now available on the official website for all education board. The students who will participate in the Board Exam, are advised to collect the syllabus for preparation.
As per the SSC 2027 Syllabus, there will be 100 marks in the Bangla 1st Paper. Among them, 50 Marks for Creative Questions, 20 for Board, and 30 Marks for MCQ Questions. There will be 8 questions in the Creative section. Students must be aware that, they need to write answers at least 5 questions.
SSC & Equivalent Exam
The SSC and Equivalent Exam 2027 will be conducted under the new syllabus structure introduced by NCTB. This includes Dakhil and Vocational examinations, all of which are set to follow similar guidelines when it comes to question types and marks distribution.
The NCTB has officially published the SSC Syllabus 2027 on February 7, 2025, and it’s now available for download. This syllabus will be followed by all education boards across Bangladesh. It covers every core subject and how marks will be distributed.
SSC 2027 Mark Distribution
- Bangla 1st Paper: Total marks – 100. Creative Questions (CQ) – 50, Board questions – 20, MCQ – 30. Students will face 8 creative questions and must answer 5.
- Bangla 2nd Paper: Written – 70 marks, MCQ – 30 marks. Focus is placed on grammar, comprehension, and essay writing.
- Mathematics: Total marks – 100. Creative part – 50 marks, Short Questions – 20 marks, MCQ – 30 marks.
- English 1st Paper: 100 marks. The questions are MCQs, poem comprehension, gap-filling, answering prose-based questions, and summary writing.
SSC English Syllabus 2027
English 1st Paper: There are 100 marks. Includes multiple-choice questions, comprehension passages, poetry-based questions (choose 5 out of 8), summary writing, rearranging sentences, and gap-filling exercises.
English 2nd Paper: Also carries 100 marks, focusing on grammar and composition. There are many question including fill-in-the-blanks, sentence corrections, and narration. The writing section features formal letters, applications, and short essays.







Math Syllabus
Mathematics continues to be a core subject for SSC candidates and now follows a structured and well-divided syllabus.
The syllabus covers Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, and Trigonometry. The creative section involves multi-step problems requiring logical steps and clear presentation. The short questions test formula-based quick solving, while MCQs assess the depth of conceptual understanding.
Total Mark: 100
- Creative Questions (CQ): 50 marks. These problems require step-by-step solutions and test logic and reasoning.
- Short Questions: 20 marks. These are quick-answer format questions that may involve calculations or concepts.
- MCQs: 30 marks. These test the basic understanding of mathematical principles.
