Honours 4th Year Exam 2025

The Honours 4th Year Exam under the National University of Bangladesh is scheduled to start from July 8, 2025. As per the recent notice, some dates have been changed in the revised schedule. However, the exams, which were scheduled for July 8 and 13, will remain the same.

This year, about 2 lakh candidates from all over the country will participate the exam. As per the routine, the exams will run for over a month and are set to end on August 12, 2025. All theoretical examinations will be held in the afternoon, with a consistent start time of 2:00 PM each day.

Honours 4th Year Exam Routine 2025

There was a new schedule released, which can be a bit confusing. But here’s the most important part: the first couple of exam dates have not changed.

  • Exams Start: Tuesday, July 8, 2025
  • No Changes: The tests on July 8 and July 13 will be taken as planned.
  • Written Tests End: Tuesday, August 12

Practical and Viva Exam Schedule

Once all the written tests are over, candidates will need to participate in the practical and oral (viva) exams. This exam will be conducted in a different schedule.

The university won’t set a single schedule for everyone. Instead, each college will make its schedule for these exams. This means you need to get in touch with your college to find out your specific dates and times. The best way to do this is to talk to your department head or professors so you don’t miss anything.

Instructions for Candidates

The university has a couple of important rules for the exam period. One is about the test papers. To keep things secure, exam centers are not allowed to pick up the questions until after all the written tests are done.

It’s also a good idea to remember that the university can still change the schedule if needed. Because of this, you should only trust information from the official National University website. Don’t rely on rumors you see on social media. Always double-check the latest news at www.nu.ac.bd.
