National University Bangladesh already published NU Admission Result for Honours Course session 2024-25. The final admission process from the 1st merit list started on June 28, 2025. Interested candidates can submit their application till July 15, 2025. Now, candidates are waiting for the 2nd merit list.
The 2nd Merit Result will be published soon, most provably within July 18, 2025. An official of National University admission committee confirmed this information to TBN Express.
“The admission test result of the Honours 1st Year has been published on June 26. The final application process is ongoing and will end on July 15, 2025. After that, the 2nd Merit List will be published soon”, said the source.
He also said that a total of 4,60,706 candidates have passed the exam. Among them, 2,65,364 have been selected in the first merit list. They are advised to complete the admission process by July 15, 2025.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,95,342 candidates from all over the country are eagerly waiting for the Honours Admission 2nd Merit Result. Without the official announcement, they can’t submit their final application form.
The candidates who are waiting for the result must know the published date and the application schedule. While the source confirmed the expected date, candidates must wait for the final announcement.
Once the Honours 2nd Merit List is published, candidates can check the result online. Interested candidates will need to fill up the final admission form within the mentioned deadline.
This year, National University back to their previous rule for Honours Admission. They reintroduced the admission test after 8 years of break. The test was held on May 31 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. About 550,000 candidates from all over the country participated the admission test.
Note that, National University conducted the admission test last time for the academic year 2014-15. They introduced the GPA based admission system from the next year, session 2015-16. After almost eight years of break, NU admission test was reintroduced for the 2024–25 session.
