The Honours Admission Result 2025 for the session 2024-25 will be published after Eid Ul Adha. The admission test for National University was conducted on May 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Over 5 lakh candidates from all over the country participated in the admission test.
This year, National University conducted the admission test after almost 8 years of break. Last time, the written test was taken for the session 2014-25. The authority changed the system from the session 2015-16. Students were admitted to the Honours Course based on their GPA of the SSC and HSC exams.
As the exam has been taken for the first time in 8 years, candidates are eagerly waiting for the Honours Admission Result. However, they need to know the published date.
Generally, most of the Universities, including HSTU, Comilla, and Rajshahi, publish the admission results within one week of the test. The HSTU Admission Result was published after 6 days of the test.
A relevant source informed TBN Express that the Honours Admission Test 2025 was successfully held on May 31, 2025. This year, over 6 lakh students from across the country applied for Honours admission at the National University. Out of them, 5,60,595 candidates were eligible to sit for the test. According to the source, applicants who score at least 35 marks will be considered for admission.
“Due to the huge number of candidates, it will take a few days to complete the evaluation process. The process will be paused for the Eid al-Adha Holiday. So, there is a very low chance of publishing the result within one week. The Honours Admission Result is expected to be published after the holiday,” the source added.

Last year, National University published the admission result after two weeks of the online application. Although, the candidates were selected based on their GPA, it took about two weeks.
This year the evalution process will take more time because of the admission test. The result for the session 2024-25 will be published within or after June 15, 2025. Once published, the merit list can be checked online directly through the admission portal.
Note that, National University conducted the admission test on May 31, 2025. The test was taken for 100 Marks. Among them, 20 for Bangla, 20 for English, and 20 for General Knowledge. On the other hand, 40 marks separately for each group.
The candidates who will get at least 35 marks to pass the test. As there is no negative marking system for the wrong answer, it was the easy task for a large number of candidates.
