Jagannath University (JnU) has officially announced the interview schedule for students applying under various quota categories for admission into the 1st year Honours program (2024–25 academic session). The interviews will be conducted for all units — A, B, C, D, and E — on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the respective Faculty Dean Offices.

Quota Candidates Must Attend in Person

Students who appeared in the admission test and applied for quota-based seats are required to attend the interview in person, along with all necessary documents. The university will verify applications under the following quota categories:

  • Freedom Fighter Quota
  • Indigenous/Tribal Quota
  • Dalit and Harijan Quota
  • Persons with Disabilities Quota
  • Athlete Quota
  • Ward Quota (children of JnU staff)

Interview Timing

Candidates must report by 9:00 AM on June 17, 2025. Delayed attendance may result in disqualification from quota consideration.

Documents Required for Interview

Applicants are instructed to bring the following original documents and certificates based on their respective quota category:

For All Applicants:

  • Admit card signed by the invigilator of the admission test
  • Original mark sheets of SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams
  • Birth certificate

Freedom Fighter Quota:

  • Photocopy of the Red Muktibarta or official government gazette
  • Original certificate from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs

Indigenous/Tribal Quota:

  • Certificate from the District Commissioner (DC)
  • Ethnic certificate from the community head

Dalit and Harijan Quota:

  • Certification from DC, Upazila Chairman, Commissioner, or Union Parishad Chairman

Persons with Disabilities Quota:

  • Certificate or valid proof from the Department of Social Services

Ward Quota:

  • Certification from Jagannath University Administration
