HSC Exam 2025: Official Calculator List Out, Check 6 Models

The HSC Exam 2025 is set to begin on June 26. The Higher Secondary Education Board has released the Calculator List for this HSC and Equivalent Exams. The candidates who are going to participate in the exam, are advised to check the calculator.

This year, students from all over the country will be allowed to use only six specific models of scientific calculators. The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has issued a notification in this regard.

The directive was issued officially on Monday (June 16). It was signed by Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Board.

According to the notice, students will be allowed to use non-programmable calculators. The allowed six models of Calculator List is given below for the HSC 2025 Exam;

  • FX-100MS
  • FX-991ES
  • FX-570MS
  • FX-82MS
  • FX-991EX
  • FX-991MS

However, there is no restriction in the regular calculators. Students can use regular calculators if they wish.

The notice further states that authority at the exam centers will verify the calculator models being used. However, students have been strongly advised to use only the approved models.

According to the official report, this year a total of 1,251,111 students from 11 education boards have registered to take part in this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations. Among them, 618,015 are male and 633,096 are female students.

Last year, in 2024, the total number of examinees was 1,332,993. So this year, the number of students decrease compared to the last year.
