The Honours Admission Result 2025 for the academic year 2024-25 will be published this week. The admission test was conducted on May 31, 2025. About 5.6 lakh candidates from all over the country took part in the test.
A relevant source of the National University admission committee confirmed this information to TBN Express.
“Nearly 5.6 lakh candidates from all over the country appeared on the admission test. Due to a large number of candidates, the evaluation process will take more time. The result was suppossed to published after a few days of Eid Ul Adha. It is assumed that the result will be published within this week”, added the source.
After 8 years of break, National University has conducted the admission test for Honours 1st Year. So, many experts says, the evaluation process will be take few more days. On the other hand, there was around 5 to 7 holidays for Eid Ul Adha. For this reason, the evaluation process will be completed in delay, most provably within June 25, 2025.
Generally, most of the Universities, including HSTU, Comilla, and Rajshahi, publish the admission results within one week of the test. The HSTU Admission Result was published after 6 days of the test.
Last year, National University published the admission result after two weeks of the online application. Although, the candidates were selected based on their GPA, it took about two weeks.
National University conducted the admission test on May 31, 2025. The test was taken for 100 Marks. Among them, 20 for Bangla, 20 for English, and 20 for General Knowledge. On the other hand, 40 marks separately for each group.
Note that, the National University reintroduced its admission test system after 8 years of break. NU had stopped holding admission tests after the 2014–15 academic session. Students were admitted in the Honours and Degree Course based on their GPA of SSC and HSC Exam from the session 2015-16 to 2023-24.
